Lorissa Algarin

My name is Lorissa and I’m a naturally creative thinker and a quick skill-learner who values data-driven design and seeing projects successfully resolve problems.

In the past, I’ve been employed as an IT technician for a top 100 academic institution and worked internships related to customer experience and product management at automotive and retail corporations. These opportunities opened the door for me to work with users to identify and evaluate technological needs and develop creative solutions that support those end-users’ objectives.

Through my academic work, I developed my skills in UI/UX design, technical writing, and SQL database procedure. I’ve completed numerous projects to support these skills, including my grad school capstone where I created a service helping local food banks manage and redistribute near-expiration goods in their inventory.

I’m hoping to continue building my expertise in data-driven design and development to continue optimizing digital experiences for both internal and external users.
